Business Management, Human Resource Management Concentration, B.S.
In order to study human resource management at the University of New Haven, students will need to enroll in the university’s AACSB-accredited business management program. As part of this program, students will take courses in the fundamentals of business management: Economics, accounting, finance, strategic management, and marketing. Alongside the business core, UNH students will take human resources management classes that teach them the basics of employee conflict resolution, workplace policymaking, management of a human resources department, administration of benefits and employee compensation programs, and much more. At the conclusion of the B.S. program, graduates will have the skills they need to succeed both as a general business manager and, more specifically, as a manager of a corporate human resources department.
